The Sound Wall
Music Initiative
was founded by musicians Jen and Rob Slocumb, also known as “Martha’s Trouble”.
As lifelong lovers of music, Jen and Rob understand the important role music can play in everyone’s life, but know that funding the passion can be out of reach for many. The Sound Wall Music Initiative bridges the gap between funding and passion.
The Sound Wall Music Initiative is a division of The Sound Wall, a venue and audio/video production studio that welcomes musicians of all genres and talents.
By utilizing the resources of The Sound Wall, The Sound Wall Music Initiative is uniquely able to offer opportunities to aspiring musicians.
Together, we can expand the local music culture and enhance the lives, both economically and socially, of our community members through music education, programming and events.

The Sound Wall Music Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating the art of music in the Auburn/Opelika community.
We strive to enhance our community through live performances, support for music education, and artist development.
