KATIE MARTIN

Join us for an unforgettable evening with genre-blending songwriter and loop artist Katie Martin as she brings her soulful voice, hypnotic guitar work, and live-looping magic to The Sound Wall. Katie’s performances are immersive and heartfelt—fusing folk, blues, and experimental textures into a one-of-a-kind live show.

Katie has shared stages with acts like The Revivalists, and her NPR Tiny Desk submission turned heads with its emotional depth and raw authenticity. Don’t miss this chance to see one of the Southeast’s most dynamic independent artists in an intimate setting.

Katie Martin is a multimedia artist and songwriter known for her unique blend of music and visual art. Her songs have been featured on the ‘Women of Substance: Music With a Conscience’ Podcast series. She has released three albums: “Purpose” (2015), “Hope” (2018), and “Faith” (2022), all produced by Grammy award-winning producer Larry Mitchell. Each album includes a collection of artwork that combines hand drawings, photography, videography, and prose, available in both digital and physical formats.

Katie performs at Live Looping and Songwriting festivals across the United States and Mexico. In 2022, she became a certified sound healing practitioner, using her voice along with crystal singing bowls and various instruments to create healing experiences for her audiences.  Throughout her travels she collects inspiration and sounds from natural landscapes to incorporate into her music and art.  Currently she is working on her fourth album and releasing a product line featuring her artwork.
